its now already 1 month into my 2nd sem of university,
and honestly, im not enjoying it at all!:(

apart from the study being super independent,
(and i mean super, the tutors are super useless!-.-)
i guess another factor would be that up till nw,
i hardly find any genuinely close friends :(
firstly in engin, its like all guys-.-
not to mention, 80% are china people whom i can make friends with, but not close friends.
and when im like one of the very few singaporean girls in my tutorial, that makes it very little girls for me to make friends with.

not to mention when the other fews, i somewhat find them..weird.
one is like super annoying, another is super arrogant..
or mayb im just being mean, but i honestly cant find a normal and nice girl to make friends with.

oh, and apart from the fact that everyone just disperses right after lesson ends!
so basically, we're just accompanying each other during tutorials and thats it.
honestly sucks~:(
i guess another factor would be cause i missed all orientation camps (for both my hall and engin school) such that i hardly know anyone.
even people in my hall, they are always stuck together with their orientation group that its so hard to even try to join in you know?

of cos its not to the extent where i know no one at all,
friends yes i do have, but they just feel so superficial and untrue.
at least none that i feel i can make great friend with up till now.:/

oh actually i did make rather good friend with my roomie last semester, but sadly,
she withdrew from her course last year and now i got a new room mate,
an indo, meaning this room which we share, is like her "house" in singapore, where she's here everyday.
thats not the point,
the point is that, she's super SUPER dirty and messy!
she doesnt even bother to sweep her side of the floor when i can visually see that it is SUPER DIRTY AND DUSTY!
up till the extent where i couldnt stand it,
i tried to subtly hint it to her by telling her that she could borrow my broom if she needs it.
 the next dat i saw her using her feet trying to sweep the stuffs on her floor to one side (which formed like a whole fur ball!:O ) and took the chance to suggest her to use my broom again, and so she did and finally swept ONCE.
and that, was the first and last time i saw up till now.-.-

also, she like talks super loudly whenever she's facetime-ing her boyfriend!
there was once when i thought she was talking to him right outside my room,
and it was super super loud, such that i could not tolerate anymore.
but when i went out to go to the pantry,
i realised that she wasnt right outside my room,
instead she was a level downstairs!:O
my gosh! it is that loud okay! i can hear her every word distinctively and yet she's downstairs?!:O
imagine that!

oh and since i cant stand her lifestyle, i obviously am  not really friends with her.
anyways i seldom see her, since she leaves the hall super early every morning for internship and sleeps super early at night (which affects my study as she offs the lights so early too)

really super miss my old roomie, we both have such similar living habits, was a joy to live with her.

well anyways,
im just here to rant about how i kinda hate my uni life.
the subjects are rly tough to handle too, but i shan't get into that.
i've got lessons early tmr morning, so im going to get going to sleep already.

oh and today was the last day of cny,
my favourite festive of all times,
but now its over,sobs!:(
really hope it comes by real soon again!^^

ohoh! and btw, one of the electives now that im taking is malay language,
which i think is kinda cool, knowing another language!:D

since my last blog posts, there have been quite afew changes in my life.
firstly, im back from my hongkong trip already and it was a really tiring yet nice trip to be in!^^
well i shall not get into that detail yet, at least not now!:P

ok so, i have officially started my uni life and began schooling in NTU!^^
im also staying in the hostel there and im super loving my hostel room!:)
its hall 15 and its the newer rooms which looks like a chalet to me!^^
nice clean with pretty colours, PINK WITH WHITE!xP
bed's rather hard, but overall, its great place to be in!:)
best of all,im away from all the naggings of my mum to slp at 12 am blah blah blah!:P
my roomie's called yan hao and she's a really nice girl!:)
we are able to click rather well and its awesome!^^

as for school,
my first week was rather busy for me as i had like tonnes of lecture notes and tutorials to catch up on,
the lecturers teaches so fast in lecture that i'll have to re-read all the notes on my own in my free time.
not to mention i had to get use to the school surrounding and understand the way the school functions with the add drop sessions, finding out where my lessons venues are and what buses to take from one point to another of the uni.
well, after 1 wk of school, im pretty much set in and more familiarised already,
managed to catch up with my school work too, but when i finally cleared the stuffs i needed to do,
there was a whole other batch that came in for the next week!:P
ya well, thats my school life for now.
oh yes, and i finally made more friends today!
basically the only way to make friends are in your tutorial classes and all along there were like so many people around,especially china scholars which i can totally not click with, so it was rather hard, also when the girls were like seated diff places due to entering lessons at diff times.
but today, all the china students had some other thing to attend to, so in our tutorial class, there was only singaporeans and perhaps 1 or 2 other country ppl, so it was a great chance to make friends and we did!^^
and im glad, else abit sad in uni if no friends around uh!:P haha
but the thing is that my course is like majority guys uh!:P
anyways, so thats all about my life for studying in uni so far after 1 week!:)

and here's another good news,
I FINALLY PASSED MY DRIVING TESTS!
BASIC THEORY, FINAL THEORY AND NOW PRACTICAL.
I AM OFFICIALLY A LICENSED DRIVER!woohooo!^^
and my 2nd bro was my very 1st passenger just now.
and here's the funny part!:P
i was sending him home from my grandmum house at jalan kayu to my house which is like a 5-10 mins drive?
every thing was going fine when half way through,
my bro went "ehh! you never pull down hand break luh! its at half break!"
and i went ohh no!:( fail sia!:P
but thats not all!
when i reached outside of my house,
both me and my bro realised something at the same time:
I DID NOT TURN ON MY HEAD LIGHTS!
it was rather dark but i forgotten to on it through the whole trip when it was already 8!:P
LOL
so, NOW, who would still like to have a ride from me?
let me know, but be cautioned, your life is at risk!xP hahahaha

ok so here's a bad news,
my com jus betrayed and disappointed me!:(
i brought my lappie home from my hostel just now,
and apparently my lappie had a slight knock in the car jus now,
but i thought it wasnt a big deal as it was i a cushioned laptop cover.
but i was so wrong!:(
my lappie's screen now is like dead!
when i turn on my lappie,
i can hear my lappie loading and starting up,
but all i see is,
a blank screen and my own reflection!:(
boohoo!
my dad's so gonna kill me!:(
i do wish to get a new lappie, but i dont wanna lose my data in my lappie!:P
honestly, my lappie should be able to fix luh, though i want a new lappie,lol.my lappie is lyk freaking heavy please!:(

oh in case you guys wondering how im able to post this,
its cause im using my big bro's new macbook!
he recently bought a new desktop in his room, and now he got a lappie! what is this man!
waste money only he~
this mac book should be given to me dont you guys agree!hahahaha
just kidding~:P

yupps, thats about it, i should get back to my work and sleep soon,its been a tiring week for me!:)

ok so i am now at BFF's house using her new lappie which i super love the keypad!!^^
and yes bff,i agree,ur lappie is lighter then the usual, i jus realised!:P hehe!
anyways, this mini gathering here is supposed to be for mahjong and well, me being a non-mahjong player,
wasnt really interested, but i still decided to drop by here awhile to see the botak guys!:)

well right now barry and brendon are busy playing mahjong with liyan and jo whereas shixun is beside me using his own lappie!
as for kel..apparently he has fever and decided to go enjoy sleeping on his dear girlfriend's bed!:P haha!

I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They’re always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way, they get hurt, and become smaller / older, and eventually pass on. Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.
All my life, I’ve been the pencil. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day. For I know that one day, all that I’m left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have.
This is to all the parents out there.

this is really touching and i teared upon reading it even though i cant say my relationship with my parents is all that great,
but i do know, whatever they do, its what they think, its the good of me,
even though i do not agree with the way they go about doing it.

well basically why it was double happiness was cause during that period of time,
i kept looking forward to something in the letterbox for me.
2 things actually.
one was my blackberry white housing, and also hoping to receive an acceptance letter from NTU with regards to my appeal to enter engineering.
on this very day,
when i went home, i saw a package on the table and specified to me.
and i was sure it was my white berry housing!
i excitedly took it upstairs to my room and immediately changed the housing!:D
so yes, right now, i have a white black berry, or shall i say, white berry!^^
hehe!after i was done with my phone, i turned it back on and i received a message..
well, apparently, it was NTU INFORMING ME OF MY ACCEPTANCE!^^
gosh i was seriously so happy!:D
hmm, yes it may not be the no.1 choice of course for me,
but well, at least its in a really reputable uni right?
it did take me quite long to make a decision whether to accept this course or not,
but yes i ultimately did and i will work hard to pull through!:D
so yes,that's my double happiness day!xD hehe!
