liyan's birthday celebration!

ok. i guess its been a few days since my last post.=X
i was too lazy to on my com,
instead, i just conveniently came online through my itouch(:

anyways,
the day that we've been so excited about.
liyan's birthday celebrations!(=
wheee!
haha.
unfortunately i was having this crazy flu on that day that i ended up sleeping half the time at liyan's house =(


the day before the celebrations,
derrick and i went to buy the ingredients,
and that samuel cabbed down to meet us from queensway.
aww. so nice of samuel, he wasted $15+ just likethat.
anyways, when it came to paying for the food,
we started freaking out while the cashier kept on scanning in the products!
and we kept giving that freaking out expression that the cashier was laughing at us man!
lol.
and it cost a bomb because of derrick's expensive prawns which he insisted.
but i have to admit,
the salad was awesome.
though i could only taste alittle of it
haha

so after buying the ingredients, it was like 6 pm?
the 3 of us then quickly rushed to samuel's house to put down the ingredients,
and started baking out cheesecake for liyan's birthday.
we broke a record.
a cheesecake in 15 mins.
all thanks to our great teamwork
HAHA.
but by then, derrick and i was super late for our individual appointment.
so we rushed off.

the next morning.
liyan's birthday celebration day.(4th dec'09)
we were suppose to meet up at 8.30am.
derrick somemore said he's super someone would be late.( & he wasnt refering to himself)
at about 7 plus, i messaged derrick, but no reply.
then at 8, samuel told me that derrick didnt reply him either.
at 8.30 am....( the time we were supposed to meet)
samuel told me DERRICK JUST WOKE UP!D:
awesome.
but anyways i myself was late.
LOL.
at 8.30 i was still at my house bus stop.
surprisingly, kelmond reached the meetup place on time, and the first!=)
ended up reached there 20 mins late,
then we went to the cake shop,
asking them to spare us just 1 miserable candle and they refused!
cheapo!

reached samuel house about 9am?
but slacked there till derrick and charis came over.
then we started cooking our feast!(=
but no photos though=(
we were too busy cooking.
derrick was still the main chef;(=
kudos to him ^^
and i learnt how to make mashed potatoes.
yay!^^

when we were done with the food,
we started packing everything nicely,
made the desert,
decorated the cake with oreo toppings,
cleaned up the kitchen a little..
AND OFF WE WERE TO GIVE LIYAN A SURPRISE!;D

oh wait.
and now, it rains.
HEAVILY!
and thankgod for samuel's dad who happen to come home at the right time.
offered to give us a lift
and the 5 of us squeezed like mad in the car.
it was packed like sardines!=x

we dropped off at the bus stop outside and waited for derrick's friend who stayed in the same condo as liyan to bring us in.
we were soaking wet=(
after we entered,
then derrick went to pick marion from the sidegate,
while charis, me, kelmond and samuel started to bring the food into the lobby.
after much much rain and no shine,
we finally reached liyan's doorstep.
her grandma and maid came opening the door and we asked for liyan to come out.
when she came,
we all shouted surprise and yes, she was TOTALLY SURPRISED BY US:D
yay.
haha
we got in, laid out everything nicely.
and started digging in.
and this was when my flu got really really serious.
i could taste absolutely nothing from the plates of delicious food right infront of me=(
oh yes.
derrick was having this crazy flu together with me too,.
but he's lucky that his flu went away during the meal.
we were like taking turns can.

anyways, the house exco people then randomly started dancing.
so we went over to the living room.
yeah, they can dance, anywhere, anytime.
and i can only watch!haha
after that,
kelmond and derrick played Xbox.
metal slug which they were so fedup they could not go pass 1 stage.
LOL
and the sight of their character turning into zombies and hopping around was super hilarious.
especially when one start telling the other:
"ehh! wait for me!" *character starts hopping slowly behind the other who is running*
epic.

while at the other side,
liyan, samuel, marion and charis were playing majiong.
and liyan was on a winning spree.
8 rounds in a row!
can you believe that!
haha

i couldnt tell you much what exactly happened.
why?
cause i was having that CRAZY flu and started sleeping at the couch!=(
i feel so bad for doing so.
but thankfully,
after i woke up, i got much better.
then joined in the game at Xbox.
and also learnt majiong.
thanks liyan for teaching(=
and of cos the rest for guiding.
liyan's grandma also helped me win a game.LOL

oh yes.
before charis left,
we cut liyan's birthday cake.
and i tell you,
it was simply D-E-LICIOUS!
awesome man.
haha.
great job done by derrick, samuel and me;)

so, time flu by.
and it was suddenly 7 pm already.
we wanted to dine out.
but i was really full and the rest couldnt decide where to go.
so we just simply sat at the couch and watched "wipe out"
man it was seriously HILARIOUS!
the 5 of us, liyan, marions, kelmond, derrick and I, squeezed on the couch and started laughing uncontrollably.
the way those people make a full fool of themself.
LOL

when the show ended, it was 8 and derrick and I left to go home.
we were both dead tired by then.
this was a day when we both had the same fate.
both derrick and i had crazy flu.
and both our phone batteries went flat even before half the day went pass.
on the way home, i wanted to call liyan to say i left something behind.
but i had absolutely no means at all. D:

when i reached home,
i was online for like an hour?
then i fell dead on my bed.
1st time in the last few years that i actually slept at 10pm.
man its super early!
i was dead as a log till this morning, 8 am when i had to crawl myself out of bed=(

all in all,
yesterday was a fun day(=
and i hope liyan loved it (x
girl, you're finally 17!:D
